Job Description
1. As the lead, drive the development and optimization of cellomics technologies, design innovative technical solutions based on actual needs, and lead the research and development of technologies such as chip-based single-cell multi-omics and targeted sequencing;
2. Conduct multimodal integration research of cell morphology and multi-omics as the lead or core member, and promote the application of technology in clinical scientific research and testing;
3. Apply for and manage vertical and horizontal scientific research funds to ensure the effective implementation of research projects;
4. Write research papers and publish them in internationally renowned journals, write and apply for technical patents and software copyrights, and participate in academic conferences to present research results;
5. Keep track of the latest research progress in the field of cellomics at home and abroad, actively engage in exchanges and cooperation with domestic and foreign research institutions, and provide strategic advice for the company’s technological development.
Qualifications:
1. A Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
2. Experience in leading or being a core member in the development of single-cell or spatial omics technologies, with the ability to develop and optimize experimental procedures in cellomics experimental techniques.
3. Preference is given to those with experience in human disease research, and those with experience in clinical application translation.
4. Proficiency in relevant experimental techniques and data analysis tools, such as R and Python.
5. Excellent research capabilities and academic paper writing skills, with at least one first-author (including co-author) publication in a Category 1 academic journal of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (with priority given to main journals of CNS, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Methods).

Job Responsibilities:
Applicants are expected to contribute to collaborative research projects in discovery of cancer biomarkers using large scale multi-omics approach, organoid technology, and novel animal models, as well as anti-cancer or immuno-oncology drug development.
Qualifications and Skills:
Applicants with strong research background in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering and Biological Science, preferably in Cancer Biology, Immunology, Immuno-oncology, Molecular Biology, Genomic, Proteomic, Metabolomic, Bioinformatics Studies, Single Cell Technology or Medicinal Chemistry
Applicants should:
Essential
Possess a demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers
Experienced in CRISPR/Cas9 technology and high-throughput screening techniques
Specialised research interest in haematology and haematological oncology
Experienced in molecular biology laboratory techniques and handling mammalian cell culture
Desirable
Specialised research interest in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL), pathogenesis, transcriptomes screening, T-cell-based immunotherapies (CAR-T) and single cell technology
Experienced in in-vitro drug platforms and/or microfluidics platforms
Experienced in mouse models, organoid models, and zebrafish models
Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English, strong communication skills, and be self-motivated, hardworking and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team.
The appointees shall work in Hong Kong Science and Technology Park.
